Our new inductions offering, Wellington courses, and the next video…

We’re well underway with 2015; some of you may have noticed we’ve given the website a bit of a spruce-up. There you can find brochures for all our 2015 courses, as well as a sampler of the videos from our new online-only induction course (see below).

In May we are running three courses in Wellington – Welcome to the Electricity Industry, Markets and Behaviour and History and Politics. If you, or anyone you know of, are interested in these courses, register soon so that we can get you into our online resource centre: The earlier you do it, the easier it will be!

We have also launched a new induction course – an online-only series of videos that can be done at any time. All it takes is 100 minutes – one 10 minute video a day for 2 weeks – to get up to speed with the industry. At $150 for a subscription (plus discounts for 20 or more registrations), this is amazing value for money, especially for someone new to the industry. Many of you have asked what’s next in the video series after Bullendale. Well, we’ve started on an idea that we got during the Bullendale filming: that story gave us insight into so many amazing stories about what New Zealand has done in the electricity industry that we couldn’t resist chasing a few down…we’ll keep you posted.
