This informative introductory course is for people at all levels who are relatively new to the electricity industry and would benefit from a better understanding of the industry as a whole, industry jargon, and where their roles fit. We will take you on a tour across the electricity value chain, starting with the consumer and working through how the industry meets this demand.

Course Overview

Inductees watch 11 high quality videos from our online resource centre, each approximately 10 minutes in length. Additionally, we provide a case study of Pole 1 of the HVDC.

1 full day session at your place

With everyone up to speed on the basics, these highly interactive and stimulating sessions consist of group discussions, case studies, simulations and demonstrations delivered by our two expert industry trainers – Steve and David.
